Course Title: Motivating Your Team

Course Aim:
To give front line Managers the skills to support their team to achieve high performance standards in the workplace.

Course Content:

  • Influencing skills

  • Making it happen - getting results in the workplace

Course Objectives:

  • To understand my leadership style and how it influences my staff

  • To understand how a team approach can influence performance standards
  • To understand influence and motivation and the skills necessary to apply
    them in the workplace

Course Duration:
1 day

Cost:
€190 per participant.


Course Title:- What is Management?

Course Aim:
To provide newly appointed Managers with an overview of the principles of managing people.

Course Content:

  • Roles and responsibilities of Managers

  • Planning and decision making
  • Discipline and grievance handling
  • Leading your team

Course Objectives:

  • To give newly appointed managers an overview of the key roles and responsibility of the job

  • To improve participants skills in planning and decision making techniques
  • To assist managers with understanding how to deal with a discipline or grievance matter
  • To show managers what are the important elements of leadership in the job

Course Duration:
1 day

Cost:
190 per participant.


Course Title:- Appraisal Training

Course Aim:
To support the management team in carrying out reviews in an effective manner so that employees understand the objectives of the business and their role in attaining them.

Course Content:

  • Appraisal for hourly paid employees

  • Appraisal for salaried staff
  • Role plays and the use of forms for appraisal
  • Supported preparation for performance review discussion (optional)

Course Objectives:

  • To ensure all managers clearly understand their personal responsibilities with respect to the growth and development of their people and supporting them to deliver business results

  • To ensure that all managers know and understand the mechanics of the appraisal process
  • To ensure that all managers have the skills to effectively carry out the appraisal meeting

Course Duration:
1 day, plus an additional 2 hours optional coaching on the process

Cost:
€265 per participant.
€215 if not taking optional session.


Course Title:- Leadership for Business Success

Course Aim:
To examine the key issues involved in creating an organisation environment that will allow and encourage each employee to maximise their contribution to the overall goals of the business, which revolve around profitability in circumstances that deliver customer satisfaction.

Course Content:

  • Measuring success in productivity, profitability, employee retention and customer satisfaction terms

  • Managers role in unlocking the potential of each employee
  • Understanding the elements that make up organisational excellence
  • Managing communications in high performance culture
  • Managing performance review in high performance culture

Course Objectives:

  • To outline the measures of success for a business

  • To discuss the activities required to create a high performance organisation
  • To outline the leadership skills necessary to achieve business success

Course Duration:
2 day

Cost:
€380 per participant.



Course Title: - What Managers need to know about employment law

Course Aim:
To give Managers an understanding of the key employment law issues
involved in employing people

Course Content:

  • Information that must be provided to all employees

  • Discipline and the law
  • Grievance and the law
  • Key employment legislation that a manager needs to comply with
  • Policies and procedures that help in compliance

Course Objectives:

  • To inform managers of employment legislation that covers the employment of people in their business

  • To consider the policies and procedures that a business should have in place
  • To deal with how discipline and grievance can be handled within the employment law framework

Course Duration:
1 day

Cost:
€225 per participant.
