Annual Appraisals Training Programme for an organisation...

Training Aims...

This programme has been designed around an organisation's Performance Planning and Review Process. The purpose of the training programme is to support the management team in carrying out the Annual Reviews in an effective manner so that all employees are aligned with the business objectives.

Programme Objectives...

  • To ensure all managers clearly understand their personal responsibilities with respect to the growth and development of their people and supporting them to deliver business results.

  • To ensure that all managers know and understand the mechanics of the Appraisal Process in the organisation.

  • To ensure that all managers have the skills to effectively carry out the Appraisal Meeting.

Who should attend...

  • All managers in the business.

  • On an ongoing basis - All recently appointed managers that need to be briefed on the Performance review process.

Duration...

The programme runs from 9.30am to 5.00pm.

There is the option of coaching and support available to those managers who wish to avail of it from 2.00pm to 4.00pm on the following day.
The purpose of this optional support is to help in-experienced managers to prepare properly for their Appraisals, in a supported environment.

Programme Review

Questions and Answers -

  • An opportunity for participants to discuss issues that arose during the programme.

Day 1 Closes

Post Course Evaluation - immediate feedback...

2.00pm to 4.00pm - Supported Preparation for Reviews (Optional)

This part of the programme ideally takes place within 24 hours of the full day session and involves further role plays and reviews of the process; how to complete the documentation and deal with any outstanding issues.
