Company
Background
Arra
HRD Limited was established on the 17th December 2001. The company
name is derived from the Arra Mountains, which can be seen as you
drive from Nenagh to Killaloe on the Lake drive with the mountains to
the left of Portroe village, and Lough Derg on the Shannon to be seen
on your right. It was in Portroe that Michael O'Sullivan the founder
of Arra HRD Ltd. was born.
The
company was formed with a view to supporting businesses who wish to
outsource some of their Human Resource activity, or who wish to avail
of practical training and consultancy services across a range of
areas. This web site gives an outline of the main services offered by
Arra HRD Ltd. and further information is available directly from the company.

O'Sullivan - Profile |

Michael
O'Sullivan is the owner director of Arra HRD Ltd, a Human Resources
Management Consultancy based in the Midlands. This business advises
and represents employers with regard to employment issues in the
workplace. He has a BA in Management, a Masters in HRM and is a
Charter Fellow of CIPD. He has a Diploma in Employment Law from the
Law Society of Ireland and a Diploma in Mediation & Conflict
Intervention from NUI Maynooth. Michael has been awarded certified
member status with The Mediators Institute of Ireland in 2011.
Michael worked
as Human Resources Manager at Kerry Group plc, Bord na Mona and Green
Isle Foods prior to establishing his own consultancy business in 2001.
Michael has
represented employers in the Labour Court, at Conciliation in the
LRC, at Rights Commissioner Hearings, the Equality Tribunal and the
Employment Appeals Tribunal. In addition he advises in company in
both Union and Non-Union employments on all aspects of Human
Resources Management. The focus of his work is in the area of
employment law, re-structuring and conflict intervention through
